The XGRIDS L2 Pro Series backpack is a carrying and operating accessory designed to transform the L2 Pro (16 or 32 channels) into a high-efficiency mobile mapping system for large areas.


Features

Structural Support System: Unlike a standard backpack, this internal rigid structure keeps the scanner perfectly level and balanced for the operator.

Weight Distribution: The ergonomic design distributes the weight of the scanner and batteries between the shoulders and waist, drastically reducing fatigue during extended lifting sessions.

High-Resistance Materials: Constructed with durable, abrasion-resistant technical fabrics, suitable for construction sites, forests, or mines.


Functionality

Elevated Mounting Bracket: Includes a support bracket that positions the L2 Pro above the operator"s head. This is crucial for two reasons:

360° Unobstructed View: Prevents the operator"s body from blocking the LiDAR laser beam.

Improved SLAM: The elevated position improves the capture geometry, resulting in a cleaner and more precise point cloud.

Tablet/Smartphone Mount: The backpack allows you to attach the front-facing control device (similar to an arm mount), enabling real-time monitoring or scanning while maintaining a lighter weight for safe walking on rough terrain.


Power Management and Accessories

Compartment for Additional Batteries: It has a dedicated space for carrying extra high-capacity batteries, allowing you to extend operating time until you return to base.

RTK Compatibility: The backpack is designed to accommodate the RTK module without interference, ensuring that the antenna has a clear view of the sky for accurate georeferencing.
